We schedule a 10 minute phone call with each of our potential clients to hear your concerns and determine if there is a good mutual fit between your goals and the services we offer. There is no charge for this initial phone call.
You can expect that our first one to two sessions will be focused on completing a holistic and diagnostic assessment, to help us identify root causes of your current concerns and inform treatment planning.
A treatment plan is a personalized roadmap that outlines the specific issues you're facing, the treatments or therapies that may help, and the goals you wish to accomplish. You and your therapist will work together to collaboratively develop this plan. The plan is flexible, meaning we can adjust it as your needs change. We regularly check in on your progress to assess how well the plan is working and make any necessary adjustments.
Your therapist will provide evidence-based psychotherapy, which is a type of talk therapy that is supported by scientific research. This means that the methods and techniques used have been tested in studies and have been shown to help people with similar challenges. These types of proven therapies follow a general structure while also allowing for tailoring to each individual's needs and preferences. In other words, we use the evidence as a guide and customize it to help you reach your personal goals. Our goal at ChangePoint Wellness is to help you meet your goals, whether that is feeling more confident, managing anxiety better, improving relationships, or getting "unstuck" from life's challenges. Ultimately, our work is about empowering you to make positive changes towards a brighter future.
